Dell Technologies has appointed Saravanan Krishnan as the new country manager for its Malaysia operations, succeeding Mak Chin Wah. With over 25 years in the IT industry, Krishnan will lead the execution of sales strategies to expand Dell's Malaysian business.
Grainger Wallis, senior vice president and managing director for South Asia and Emerging Markets at Dell Technologies, stated: "I am very excited with Saravanan's appointment as the new leader for our team in Malaysia. His extensive experience and knowledge in IT industry across the region will help support our customers' and partners' technology ambitions, and reinforce our growth strategy in this market."

Since joining Dell in 2015, Krishnan has held various senior roles, most recently as general manager of Unstructured Data Solutions for Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China. Previously, he managed Data Protection Solutions for South Asia and Emerging Markets.
Before Dell, Krishnan held leadership positions at companies like Hitachi Vantara, HPE, Sun StorageTek, and IBM. He's an active member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and former Chairman of the Storage Networking Industry Association for South Asia (2013-2015).
Krishnan holds an Executive MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics and a BSc in Computer Science & Information Systems from the National University of Singapore.
