Looking to score a sweet smartphone deal this Ramadan? Infinix Malaysia is making some major moves that might just put a smile on your face – and save you some serious cash.
The tech brand, which has been steadily winning over young Malaysians with its feature-packed yet wallet-friendly devices, is rolling out the red carpet with its "Time for Miracles Ramadan Mubarak" campaign. And they're not just offering discounts – they're dramatically expanding their physical presence across the country.
Store Expansion Blitz
By the end of Ramadan, Infinix will have opened six brand-new stores, bringing their total Malaysian footprint to seven locations. Their expansion strategy is targeting key regions:
In the Central Region, look for new stores at AEON Taman Equine Shopping Centre in Seri Kembangan (opening March 19) and AEON Mall Bukit Tinggi in Klang (opening March 12).
Down south, they're setting up shop at AEON Mall Bukit Indah and AEON Mall Kulai Jaya in Johor (opening March 15 and 12 respectively), plus AEON Bandaraya Melaka (opening March 28).
Up north, their Aman Central Alor Setar location in Kedah opens doors on March 6.
These join their existing Plaza Low Yat store in KL, which has been operating since November.
Deals That'll Make Your Wallet Happy
If you've been eyeing an Infinix phone, now's the time to pounce. Their in-store promotions (running March 3 to April 6) include some serious markdowns:
The flagship Zero 40 5G drops from RM1,699 to just RM1,299 – and they're throwing in a Creator Kit worth RM499 while supplies last. Not too shabby!
Other notable deals include the Note 40 5G (now RM1,199, down from RM1,299), Note 40 Pro 5G (RM999, was RM1,098), and Note 40X 5G (RM799, was RM849).
Online shoppers aren't left out either – similar discounts of up to 25% will be available on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok from March 3 to 9.
Gaming Perks with a Purpose
In an interesting twist, Infinix is partnering with mobile game Honor of Kings for Ramadan. Their Plaza Lowyat and Aman Central Alor Setar stores are giving away 1,000 HOK star cards packed with goodies – including 1,000 in-game starstones and access to an exclusive Buka Puasa event.
What's particularly cool is that each card also represents an iftar meal donation for Malaysians in need – letting gamers do some good while they level up.
"We want to honour this blessed month by giving back to our customers with unbeatable deals and an enhanced shopping experience," explained Tommy Xiong, Country Manager of Infinix Malaysia. "By expanding our store presence, we aim to provide a complete Infinix experience."
For anyone hunting for a new smartphone this Ramadan without breaking the bank, these deals might be worth checking out. The campaign runs from now until April 6 at physical stores, with the online promotions wrapping up earlier on March 9.
