After a rigorous selection process, four winners were chosen to work directly with Nothing's design, creative, and marketing teams. The end product is a smartphone that's truly one-of-a-kind.
The standout feature is the use of phosphorescent material that makes the back of the phone glow in the dark. This "Phosphorescence" concept was dreamed up by winners Astrid Vanhuyse and Kenta Akasaki, who worked closely with Nothing's designers to bring it to life.
But the community's influence doesn't stop there. The "Connected Collection" of wallpapers was curated by Andrés Mateos, while Ian Henry Simmonds reimagined Nothing's packaging with a reflective, glow-in-the-dark twist.
To tie it all together, Sonya Palma developed an intimate and powerful marketing campaign called "Find your light. Capture your light" - a nod to Nothing's focus on empowering its community.
This Community Edition smartphone is more than just a product - it's a testament to the power of collaboration. As Nothing's CEO Carl Pei puts it, "Co-creation is at the core of Nothing's mission."
